I am a writer, editor and researcher based in Greater Manchester with a passion for education, art, architecture and urbanism, and local and regional history.

My professional and freelance background includes extensive experience of working in education, communications, project management and event management.

My enthusiasm for archival research, and interest in twentieth-century British history and public art, led me to undertake a PhD at the University of Central Lancashire.
